Géraldine Lepicier, driftwood artist
At Fleur de Loire, you will have the opportunity to see many unique works of art, most of which have been created by local artists.
Today, let’s focus on Géraldine Lepicier who creates decorative pieces with driftwood.
You will find her work in Fleur de Loire’s corridors and her trinket trays are featured in the rooms.
This self-taught artist has created a range of unique artwork since 2019. She discovered driftwood entirely by chance: while wandering along the banks of the Loire, she stumbled upon these “natural treasures” which reveal surprising shapes and colours.
Géraldine breathes new life into this wood; the transformative process is always surprising, resulting in truly original artwork. Wood is environmentally friendly and can be used to create timeless pieces and furniture.
Everything she makes is unique and made entirely by hand to create authentic and unusual interior design pieces.
Her work adds warmth and character while reflecting the identity of Fleur de Loire which is inspired by the Loire river.
