In 2016, Catherine Barrier, daughter of Charles Barrier, a chef from the Touraine region who was awarded three Michelin stars, founded her consulting and communication agency specialising in fine dining, hospitality and tourism in the city of Tours.

Agence Catherine Barrier has worked with the chef Christophe Hay on his wide-ranging projects, including Fleur de Loire, since late 2019. Reflecting the values and beliefs which inspire both the chef and the agency, Fleur de Loire boasts an environmentally responsible model, showcasing and promoting the local region and the people who live and work there.
